A homeless man is invited to stay in the home of a Christian lady.   She only wanted to help.  He ended up raping her.    

We must use wisdom.  We are to be compassionate, but we must use wisdom. It is an evil world out there!

I have done a lot of mission work going to foreign places.  I’ve been to places where the pastors told you to NOT give coins to the beggars, and that is what I would have wanted to do!  But the beggars, if given coins, would multiply and the police would have to be called.  

We must use wisdom!

“Arise and build”   

An intercessor told me that one of the things that God wanted President George W. Bush to do while in office was build a border wall. But alas, he didn’t.  We often fail God, too.  But we see the real need for this now. 

The role of good government is to be “an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” (Roman 13:4)   It is the role of soldiers, sheriffs, policeman, border guards and our civil leaders to protect citizens from criminals and terrorism.

May we help through prayers.

AGAINST EVIL

Many people who want the wall are NOT against the poor.  I am NOT against brown-colored people for they are within my family.  The illegal migrants are being used.    

We are against evil.   We are against sex trafficking.  We are against drugs coming into our country.  We are against senseless murder. 

As President Trump said in his State of the Union speech on February 5, 2019:

“Tolerance for illegal immigration is not compassionate. It is actually very cruel.

One in three women is sexually assaulted on the long journey north. Smugglers use migrant children as pawns to exploit our laws and gain access to our country. Human traffickers and sex traffickers take advantage of the wide open areas between our ports of entry to smuggle thousands of young girls and women into the United States and to sell them into prostitution and modern-day slavery.

Tens of thousands of innocent Americans are killed by lethal drugs that cross our border and flood into our cities, including meth, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl. The savage gang, MS-13, now operates in at least 20 different American states and they almost all come through our Southern border.

Just yesterday, an MS-13 gang member was taken into custody for a fatal shooting on a subway platform in New York City. We are removing these gang members by the thousands. But until we secure our border, they are going to keep streaming right back in. Year after year, countless Americans are murdered by criminal illegal aliens.

…. In the last two years, our brave ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of criminal aliens, including those charged or convicted of nearly 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes and 4,000 killings or murders. We are joined tonight by one of those law enforcement heroes, ICE Special Agent Elvin Hernandez…. he and his family came to the United States from the Dominican Republic [legally]…. he leads investigations into the scores of international sex trafficking.”

Also, many Islamic terrorists are coming through our Southern border. They have no regard for our republic, who they consider to be the Great Satan. They want a one-world government with the false god of “allah”.   (But I don’t think this will happen.  It’ll be a one-world government with the “Vicar of Christ” as it’s false prophet saying “We all worship the same God anyway!”  That is heresy!)   If you want to know more about this, read the book Iran’s Strategic Penetration of Latin America.

God is true love.  But God is also wise.   God’s love has delivered us as we are born again as Christians “from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.”  (Colossians 1:13)  There will be peace in heaven without evil.  However, modern liberalism has a tolerance of others working evil.  They speak of “love”, but it’s phony.  They want something from you!   (See “Love Vs. Alistair Begg, a radio pastor, in this day of phony “love”, said:  “All you need is love”? No, you NEED to know this Book”  referring to the Bible.

“ARISE & BUILD” A Wall!

Nehemiah, in exile in Babylon (445-425 BC), was a man of prayer.  One day, in the presence of King Artaxerxes, the king noticed his face was sad and he asked him why.

Nehemiah “said to the king, “May the king live forever! Why should my face not be sad, when the city [Jerusalem], the place of my fathers’ tombs, lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire?” (2:3)

And he proceeded to tell the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor in your sight, I ask that you send me to Judah, to the city of my fathers’ tombs, that I may rebuild it.” (2:5)

So the King granted Nehemiah’s request.  However…

“When Sanballat the Horonite [a Syrian] and Tobiah the Ammonite official heard of it, they were deeply disturbed that a man had come to seek the well-being of the children of Israel.  (2:10)

It was God who “had put in [Nehemiah’s] heart” what he was to do in Jerusalem.  (2:12)  The walls were “broken down.”  (2:13)

He assembled a crew from the Jews.  Then Nehemiah said to them, “Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem.”  (2:17) 

Nehemiah also told Sanballat the Syrian, the enemy of the Jews, who tried to discourage them, that “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build [a wall], but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.” (2:20)

“So [they] built the wall … for the people had a mind to work.” (4:6)

When trouble came, Nehemiah “arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.” (4:14)

“Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside [Nehemiah]” (4:18) who said “Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us.”  (4:20)

“So the wall was finished … in fifty-two days.” (6:15)

“And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was done by our God.” (6:16)

Robbing the Poor

“Do not exploit the poor…”   Proverbs 22:22  (NIV)

How are the poor, or “powerless” (the meaning in Hebrew) exploited?  

They are exploited or robbed of their children by human traffickers.  The woman are raped.  They are used as pawns by drug dealers.  They are robbed of their dignity by tyrants who want no borders so they are free to exploit endlessly.  

These are horrendous crimes against humanity.

“One of the basic tenets of liberalism is tolerance”  (Bing)  We should have no tolerance for men working evil.  A wall, as in the days of Nehemiah, needs to be built!
