There’s a song that goes “This can’t be wrong, when it feels so right.”  Well, “feelings” often get you in trouble.  It can be wrong and immoral.   Sin begets sin.  So immorality may lead to lies, deceptions and maybe the shameful murdering of one’s baby! 

LOVE CHAPTER

Hear the Word of Scripture from the “Love Chapter”  (1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NKJV)  (type is bold):

“LOVE is patient” – LOVE waits.  It waits until you are married.  That’s not hip, now, especially with these movies that everyone is jumping into bed  with one another.  But it is the Word of God on the matter! However, if you should happen to get into sexual immorality, LOVE would go through a 9-month pregnancy rather than having an abortion!  “Love suffers long!” (NKJ)

Love is “kind”  – LOVE does not kill your baby, especially in this day when there is so much proof that it is a baby in the womb!  When Roe vs. Wade was passed in 1973, this was maybe not as clear to the public.  Many since then have regretted their abortions.  But this is big business and it is perpetrated particularly on the black race!  Margaret Sanger was a racist!  

“LOVE does not envy or boast” Are you envious of people who have worldly goods and so now it is not very convenient for you to have a baby?

Love “is not arrogant or rude.”  I personally experienced this:  Many of the pro-abortion people at the Capitol in Austin in 2013 behaved very arrogantly and rudely.   They upset the Capitol so that no one could hear.  They tried to “boo” the pro-lifers so that they would not be heard.  Lawlessness was prominent amongst them.  Some pro-abortionists called on Satan himself.  

“It does not insist on its own way”  This is the flesh wanting what it wants!  (But it tries to encourage everyone to do it God’s way!)

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like.  (Galatians 5:19-21 NKJV)

Love “is not provoked” – Many are easily angered if they are challenged that abortion is wrong!

However …

Love “keeps no record of wrongs” –  God is love.  If you have an abortion, and you turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and repent, He will forgive you.  

“As far as the east is from the west,

So far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

(Psalm 103:12 NKJV)

Love “does not rejoice in iniquity”  Pro-abortionists DO rejoice in iniquity because the Word of God states that the shedding of innocent blood is an abomination!  (Proverbs 6:16-17)

Love “rejoices in the truth”   The truth is that the baby has a heartbeat 21-22 days after conception!  

Love “bears all things” – bearing your baby!  (I’ve taken a little liberty with these words!)

“believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”   When one believes wholeheartedly in God, one has HOPE!    Hope that sins,  submitted to God and confessed, are forgiven.  God wants the eternal best for us.  And we will be able to endure because “perfect love cast out fear”!  (1 John 4:18) Have faith in God to get you through!

“LOVE never fails.”  God is LOVE (1 John 4:8) and LOVE never fails.   Go with God.  Do the right thing.  It is so sad that many are being fooled into murdering there own babies because they have no faith in God!  

Jesus said “… go and sin no more.”   (John 8:11 NKJV)

WORKING EVIL

Many have the wrong definition of love.  In the Greek, this love is “agape” or brotherly love.  It is not the “I love ice cream” type of love.  It is not “sexual love”.  So many have this wrong definition of “love” because they have not known the LOVE of the Eternal Father-God.  Their erroneous view of “love” is a toleration of others working evil:  immorality, perversity, idolatry, and murder (abortion).   All these are sins!  You are not stuck in a sin because Jesus Christ can set you free!

If you’ve had an abortion, if you have committed homosexual acts, if you’ve bowed down to false gods, you should turn from these evils and turn to Jesus Christ for help and deliverance.

When one believes in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit arrives.  You are “born again” and have a new spirit that will affect the soul. (See John 3)  (The soul and the spirit are different and they have different words in both the Old and New Testament!) This new spirit, as you are sanctified in the soul, will enable you to do the works of God.  You are a new creation!  

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”  

(2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)

Thank God for the gracious work that He works in us!   

And, LORD, in your judgment of this abomination of America’s sin of shedding innocent blood, “remember mercy”!   Habakkuk 3:2
