Resurrection! 

Christ is risen, indeed!

“Death is swallowed up in victory.” 

Death had no hold on Him, for the Messiah was pure and sinless!  

1 COR 15:20 “But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”

This tremendous event of 2000 years ago of the resurrection of Christ means that we, as true believers in Christ, will one day share in a similar circumstance!  Yet Christ is the firstfruits!  Yeshua was raised on the Feast of Firstfruits!

1 COR 15:23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 

Do you want to be raised from physical death?  It happened before:

MATT 27:52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

At the close of this age, it will happen again, even for those who are still in their earthly bodies:

1COR 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

55 “O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”

CONFORMED TO CHRIST

And how shall we be changed ?

ROM 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

1JOHN 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

This is what the LORD has planned for true believers!  TO BE LIKE THE MESSIAH!  (Not that we would be THE Son of God, but sons of God!) AMAZING!  How could anyone not desire this?

Christ is King forever!  With His saints, He reigns!

QUESTION: Are you a true believer? Going to a church doesn’t make you a true believer. It must go from the head to the heart! (Romans 10:8-10)

JOHN 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit. 7 Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
