“I have sinned against the Lord.”

I have a confession to make. After more than forty years, this is the first time I’ve written about this. This incident happened in 1976 or 77.

Tragically, I murdered my baby – in the womb. So-called “science” called the baby a fetus. “Science” isn’t always right.

Since then, in 1984, I gave my whole life to Christ. Soon, afterwards I cried before the LORD, mourning my abortion. I repented to God for having killed my own precious baby.

God will forgive us if we repent! How sad to take the life of one’s own innocent child!

“but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”   (Romans 5:8)

Many people, even sadly Christians, have had abortions. They were obviously NOT walking in the Spirit of God, at that time! But God forgives, even heinous sins, if we repent.

King David of Israel was responsible for Uriah’s death. David sent him into a fierce battle in order to obtain the soldier’s wife. (2 Samuel 11 & 12) But David repented and God forgave him, but there were consequences to what he had done in his lust.

So David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” (2 Samuel 12:13)

GOOD NEWS OF DELIVERANCE

I had a rough childhood and moved out when I was sixteen. But once I decided to give my all to Jesus Christ, He spared me, through knowledge and use of His Scripture, the tragedy of repeating with my own family the same traumatic mistakes my stepmother and father had fostered on the lives of my siblings. Our family life grew less and less stressful!

Many children have very trying lives. This is due to sin, both in their parents lives and also the children’s lives. (It takes real self-control, a fruit of the Spirit of God, to not go bonkers when your child is throwing a hissy fit in the middle of the store!)

So distressed children over-induge themselves in food, and later, alcohol or drugs.

Some children become thieves due to circumstances of need, or want of attention.

They find themselves in horrid circumstances, becoming themselves overly aggressive or overly timid, depending on the personality, or have devastating emotional problems.

Some may get into perversions, because of ungodly parents or “religious” leaders who abuse them sexually. Some children were actually raped. Others give up on church, which is the devil’s goal. Some pastors do NOT know the LORD! They prey on children instead of praying!

So these traumatized children grow up. Some get into bad relationships. They look for love, but they don’t really know what it’s about and mistake love for lust. (See “Love Vs. Working Evil”)

Some get married, and do the same thing to their kids. Or they just let them get away with anything, having no discipline!

Who can stop this wretched cycle?

“O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?”
Romans 7:24

“Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” James 1:15

Stealing, addictions, lustful behavior, and perversions ARE SINS! And some of these sins, when repeated too often, will cause possession by an unholy spirit or demon. Some demons are more obvious than others. There is a spirit of witchcraft, a spirit of perversion, a spirit of lust, a spirit of bondage (addictions), the spirit of anti-christ, and others. THE GOOD NEWS is that there is a DELIVERER from demonic oppression, from evil and from sin!!!  Jesus Christ, who delivered a woman from seven demons (Luke 8:2) and a man from a legion of demons (Mark 5:9), can deliver you from any bad-influencing, unclean demon that has a hold on one.  The Savior of the world can therefore deliver one from the plague of habitual sin.

I myself was delivered from witchcraft! I have personally known people, who upon coming to Christ, have been delivered from a homosexual lifestyle. They have truly repented of their perversions.

“Be saved from this perverse generation!”  (Acts 2:40)

GOOD NEWS of the SAVIOR!

THE GOOD NEWS is that one can be born-again in Christ, and the old will pass away!

Jesus Christ, Who is “God with us”, the Savior of mankind, died on the cross for your sins. He paid the penalty. The penalty for sin is death. When Christ died, He paid the penalty. Three days later, He rose again from the dead, because He had NO sin of His own. It was not legal for the devil to kill him!

So now, Christ sends His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God to restore us anew and we are born-again through faith in Him!

“Jesus answered, ‘Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh is born of flesh, but spirit is born of the Spirit. Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.’” (John 3:5-8)

Be born of the Spirit of God by believing in Jesus Christ!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”  (2 Cor 5:17)

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  (Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21; Romans 10:13) HalleluYAH!

I write this confession in the hopes that someone out there will truly repent before God and find the freedom and grace that can be yours in Christ!

SUGGESTIONS: Read the Scripture – it’s “bread” for your souls! And get into a good church – one that KEEPS the Word of God! (Many so-called “Christian” churches are falling away from the TRUTH! One good thing to ask the pastor: “Do you believe in the virgin birth of Christ?” Read Luke 1)
