HAVE YOU HAD A DREAM OR A VISION FROM GOD?
Maybe you have or maybe not.
How can one know?
My Christian relative was waiting to see if I really had a vision of the LORD or if I had pizza OR if it was demonic. It is right to question. Not every dream is from God, especially if they don’t agree with Scripture!
Do you know that a fallen angel can disguise himself as a person, a deceased relative, an “alien”, a serpent, an angel, a fake “Mary” or a fake “jesus”?
“And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14
The Lady of Guadelupe is not the REAL Miriam (Mary). How do I know this? This FAKE Mary supposedly said: “It is my earnest wish that a temple be built here to my honor.” Not to YHWH, not to Jesus Christ, but for her! The real Miriam (Mary) is humble!
It is a “fallen angel” that distorts the Word of God.
Now, if a “being” is from God, then that “being” cannot speak anything contrary to the revealed Word of God – the Holy Scriptures. The Word of God is absolute truth in it’s original pure form. This vision I had of Christ just revealed to me the TRUTH already in the Scriptures!
TEST THE SPIRITS
But another way to know, (and I had no idea about this Scripture at the time of my vision because I was new to the faith) is this:
2:18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour…. 22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (1 John)
So, we can say that the fallen angel posing as Gabriel who appeared to Muhammed was a demon because it denies the Son. Islam does not acknowledge the Son of God! Islam, when the adherents get in power, subjugates people.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
Getting back to the topic….
4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit*, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. (1 John)
* “spirit” could be “the message” or “a being”
Let’s look at this again. We will look at the Hebrew words for Jesus Christ: Yeshua HaMashiach.
“Yeshua” means “YHWH saves” or “YHWH is salvation”.
“Mashiach”/Messiah means “Anointed One”.
This is the full meaning of the holy name. Words, especially in Scripture, have meanings! One must believe that God took on human flesh and came in the flesh. So “every spirit [a “message”/a “being”] that does not confess that Jesus Christ [“YHWH saves” the Messiah] has come in the flesh is not of God. “
Muslims don’t believe Jesus is God and they also deny the Son. Hindus don’t trust in YHWH. New Agers have gnostic tendencies. “The Church of Latter-day Saints” (Mormons) think that Jesus is a created being. These “messages” are of the spirit of antichrist.
Awhile back, and not at my current church, a lady joined the choir. I thought I’d take her out for coffee to get to know her better. She told me she was having visions of a spirit. But this “being” didn’t line up with the Word of God and claimed things contrary to the Scriptures. The name of this “angel” was Lilith. I knew something about this from studies. I told her she needed to repent to God for entertaining this demon, a demon meant to deceive! (Maybe it was a fallen angel! See the difference here.)
Matthew 24:24 (NKJV) For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
What is important is that you know the Word of God, the Bible! If anything contradicts the Word of God, the message is from the spirit of antichrist. You must also TEST the spirits by asking a “being” if Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) has come in the flesh! The LORD is Emmanuel! He is “God with us”!
Pray for discernment. And don’t be deceived! Know the Word!
