Charisma Magazine online (9/3/18) has an article “Can Christians Be Deceived Into Worshipping Angels?”
I say, “Yes! …. to fallen angels!”
This is dealing with the latest craze in some Christian circles. I have addressed this somewhat in:

HOW TO RECOGNIZE AN ANGEL (If you see an angel, it should NOT contradict anything in the Word of God.) This tract goes back to the 1990’s, but it’s now online!
This is one of the subtle tricks the enemy is playing on us, poor sheep. We wander off from the LORD’s path! It can lead to strange doctrines.
For example, where is it in Scripture that you have an angel that looks like you? IF YOU HAVE A SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
YES, IT IS NEW AGE!
In the Prologue of Everyday Angels, one of the authors quotes someone, “But Isn’t This New Age?” She then quotes Titus 1:15, and it is taken out of context! See my article All Things Are Pure?
The author states that interacting with angels “sounds like” Zechariah, Daniel, Jesus, and John in Revelation.
All of these were prophets. Are we all prophets?
1 Corinthians 12 (NKJV) 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets…. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets?…
There is a seer gift, someone who “sees” things supernaturally, in the church today. However, I suspect that a lot of these people “seeing visions” are having “vain imaginations”. The enemy’s purpose is to eventually belittle the Word of God and exchange it with a doctrine of demons!
Now, just suppose that someone comes in to a class and the teacher encourages this person in focusing and “seeing” an angel. This is peer pressure to “see” one. Suppose that it isn’t an angel of the LORD but it is a fallen angel, a demon, nicely clad as “an angel of light”. Suppose they have this ungodly vision more than once, and it becomes familiar to them. (Have you heard of “familiar demons”?) At one point, this demon will say to this person, that there is no hell, OR that there are many ways to Christ, OR something that is definitely in error. Uh-oh! Do you listen to the “angel”? OR do you go by the sure Word of God!
That someone, by “practicing” this way to “see” angels in their imaginations, may also have a vision of a phony “Mary”. This phony “Mary” will tell you all kinds of error!
A phony “Mary” appeared to a woman in Dallas, Texas. She also is surrounded with “angelic beings” (demons). She wrote a book about it. I have read the book – because that is part of my ministry – “cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean” (See Mission Statement ) – and I was shocked at the error in it.
This lady writes, at the prompting of this phony “Mary”:
“It does not matter, as some churches think, if you believe or not.” Heresy.
“It matters not what you call Him.” (referring to God) Heresy.
This is the TRUTH from the Apostle Peter:
Acts 4:10-12 (NKJV) 10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. 11 This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Galatians 1:8 (NKJV) 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
Let that phony “Mary” be accursed!
I believe that one of the end time deceptions is to have this phony “Mary” appear en masse to people. However, the first “apparition” of the Fatima children was AN ANGEL! The demon, also clad in an angelic costume, said to them, “Do not be afraid. I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me.” Sounds nice? It led to heresy!
Do you think the enemy comes to you with a pitchfork? Satan and his hordes appear as angels of light!
2 Corinthians 11:14 (NKJV) 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
Let’s see this in context:
2 Corinthians 11:12-15 (NKJV) 12 But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
This is speaking of false apostles! But many people who have read this book are just naive to the tricks of satan. Are they all so gullible? Perhaps, being led astray by pride, they think they are too smart for the devil to get them.
Whom does the enemy want to defeat? It is the Church of God that is being most effective for the Kingdom! It is the intercessors, the real prophets, the real apostles, the worshippers! Oh, Church of God, have you not been attacked? It is so subtle, but it is a real attack! Get over this and get back to preaching the Word of God!
