“In the world, you will have tribulation…”

I pray daily for the persecuted Jews and tortured Christians worldwide.  I pray according to God’s word:

“Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.”  Psalm 25:22

Anti-semitism is ugly. It is executed by the enemy of our souls. It is perpetrated by an enemy that has no mercy. The enemy has his minions to carry it out, people who are not schooled in the wisdom of the ages, the wisdom that is of YHWH.

“Every word of God proves true.” Proverbs 30:5 ESV

The enemy is the father of lies. Lies keep one in bondage. The enemy is scared of the Word of God, because it speaks of liberty, not liberty to sin, but the liberty of God!

This is printed on the United States Liberty Bell:

“Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all inhabitants thereof.” Leviticus 25:10

Is it any wonder the enemy wants to keep this precious Book hidden?  The enemy doesn’t want people to be set free by the Bible, the all-time number one-censored Book.

But the Israelites brought God’s Word to the people!  And for that the Jews are to be cherished forever!

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17

For a very long time in European history, the people had no way of knowing God’s wisdom because they were told by priests that it needed to be in Latin, so therefore very few understood the Word of God. But thanks to many freedom fighters in the 1500s, we now have the Word of God in many languages of the world.

But for the “People of the Book”….

The hateful crusade began long before Haman’s plan to kill the Jews. It began long before the history of abuse and pogroms in Europe.  We said, “Never Again” at the end of Word War II, but now we see the ugly evil head looming again.  If the enemy could, he would totally annihilate the Jews.

The prophets have always been maltreated. Let’s look at “Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets— who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight…. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.” (Hebrews 11)

These were prophets and they knew the truth, the truth that sets one free in their hearts.  They knew before that the Redeemer of Israel would come, the Prince of Peace.

The Prophet Zechariah wrote this:

“On that day His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives … and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west … and you shall flee to the valley of my mountains…. Then YHWH my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him…. And YHWH will be King over all the earth…”
(Zechariah 14:4-9)

YHWH is King! I believe it for He wrote it. We, who believe the Book YHWH inspired, will have eternal life – ruling and reigning with the Prince of Peace.

“He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.”

And there will be no anti-semitism!  But in this present world…

“‘I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.’”
