The Beauty of the Hill Country

Written by:

It’s springtime in the Hill Country of Texas! What a joy!

When we first came here three years ago, I planted some bluebonnet seeds. They’re spreading and will spread some more in years to come. Now I have them in my garden and elsewhere on my property. Also, other wildflowers bloom profusely.

GAZING WITH GRATITUDE

When I arise and look out of my window at the beauty all around me, I often pray in sincere appreciation:

“Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheinu Melech ha’olam, oseh ma’aseh bereishit.”

“Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, who performs the work of creation.”

COL 1:16 For by Him [Yeshua] all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

But He shares this beauty with us!

ROM 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

ISA 65:18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I [Yahweh] create!
