My Perfect Dove

This is for the Bride of Christ. Are your eyes focused on Yeshua the Messiah? Do you have a deep devotion and love for the Lover of your soul?

I opened my Bible the other day, and I first noticed “My dove, my perfect one, Is the only one …” I felt the LORD was telling me this and when I later sat down at my piano, I started to write this song.

But how can we be so perfect? We need to be, for He is! His spirit is holy and as the Bride our spirits are holy NOW! What you may be doing is acting in the soul which is not perfect. However, we shall be in our souls also, for He promises:

1JOHN 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

The LORD taught us to not be “unequally yoked”. Do you think He would be? No! The Bride of Christ will be perfect, for He is perfect! He is our righteousness! One of His covenant names is YAHWEH TSIDKENU, Yahweh Our Righteousness! Our sins were covered if we are under the blood of Yeshua!

YAHWEH TSIDKENU

“Tsidkenu” is based on the Hebrew word tsedeq meaning “righteousness”, “right,” “righteous,” “righteousness,” “just”, “justify”, and “vindicated”.

JER 23:6b … Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

We, as true Christians, have forgiveness of sins for He is our righteousness and we are justified.

ISA 53:11 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities.

We are declared innocent and made right with God and therefore we are spiritually perfect!

2COR 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

EPH 4:24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

PHIL 3:9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

ROM 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

SPIRIT & SOUL

We, who have been born again of the spirit, are spiritually perfect! But not our souls! Here, on this earth, our souls get in the way! We must try to walk in the spirit through prayer, hymns, and the Word of God!

EPH 5:19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,

We need to align our imperfect souls with our perfect spirits. If we are walking in the Spirit, everything is led by the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. Your spirit is in communion with the Holy Spirit.

The order should be:

The Holy Spirit communicates God’s will to our spirits >

then our spirits tell our souls >

then our souls tell our bodies.

(We are triune beings: spirit, soul, & body.)

GAL 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

RIGHTEOUS DEEDS

REV 19:8 And to her [the Bride of Christ] it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Are your deeds righteous?

REV 3:18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

The Laodicean church was rebuked by the LORD for their works were “lukewarm”. The Messiah counseled them to be clothed with white garments. Their nakedness was showing.

Many Laodiceans were probably not spiritually saved, not born-again. We are naked without the spirit, as Adam and Eve were naked without the cover of the spirit. They had been clothed with the glory of God, shining in their appearance, until the awful fall of man.

Adam & Eve clothed with the glory of God.

Are you leading people to the LORD or encouraging them to be closer to Him?

DAN 12:3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

We should desire that many will enter the Kingdom of Heaven where there is “righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”. (Romans 14:17)

WHERE RIGHTEOUSNESS DWELLS

2PET 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

And …

MATT 13:43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Glory be to God!

THE PERFECT DOVE

Figuratively, doves represent loyalty, devotion, peace and purity. The pure Bride of Christ has eternal peace through Christ who is our righteousness!

PSA 85:10 Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.
