
What is the desire of all nations? One could say, peace! St. Paul’s pastoral letter encouraged us to pray for leaders that “we may lead a peaceful and quiet life.” That is so well expressed in the Constitution of the United States of America:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” The Declaration of Independence
First off, this document states that these rights were endowed by their Creator! If you leave out the Creator, you probably don’t abide by His rules to keep the peace.
God has blessed this country as it has been a bastion of freedom to worship the LORD and liberty. The “huddled masses” drift to our shores, but now with the open border, the deadly illegal criminals come in. We need to secure our borders for the enemy has and will get in! The role of good government is to be “an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” (Roman 13:4)
A peaceful, quiet life comes from following God’s guidance! Too many don’t follow these simple rules for living! So our country is in turmoil now. We pray for the US to return to God’s rules. We are praying for a revival! And I believe we are seeing it birthed.
We pray to Yeshua, Make America Godly Again! Then we will have both revival and freedom! For where the Spirit of the LORD is there is liberty!
But if this nation continues in the way it has been going lately, peace and liberty will diminish.
Peace will come when we have a strong leader who can subdue the rebellious forces of evil: the ones that steal, the ones who take freedom, the ones that seek money over righteousness and God.
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” MATT 6:24
We need to choose leaders who have policies that align with the Word of God.

THE PRINCE OF PEACE
Peace will come when Yeshua the Messiah returns! He truly is the Prince of Peace and the Desire of all nations!
6 “For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. 8 ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. 9 ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
When Christ returns, He will re-establish His Kingdom on earth! The devil, through deceit, stole this from Adam. But Christ will reclaim it:
And the Lord shall be King over all the earth.
In that day it shall be—
“The Lord is one,”
And His name one. (ZECH 14:9)
That is why there is such a fuss about Jerusalem. However, in his first term, President Trump boldly recognized that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel!
Yet Satan wants it for his own and he is willing to wipe out every Jew to do it! That’s what that slogan means: “from the river to the sea” (Many around the world don’t even know which river and which sea but they still chant it! They are ignorant of the whole scenario!) However, this is NOT God’s will! The Jewish people will remain and the LORD will deliver them! It is the promise of God.
But for now, the world is under satan’s influence now.
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love. (COL 1:13)
There is coming a day when the LORD will return, and then there will be peace! The rebellious will not win.
3 Then the Lord will go forth
And fight against those nations,
As He fights in the day of battle.
4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
Which faces Jerusalem on the east. (ZECH 14)
CUT DOWN
Those nations that are against the LORD and His chosen people will be cut down!
10 All nations surrounded me,
But in the name of the Lord [Yahweh] I will destroy [H4135] them.
11 They surrounded me,
Yes, they surrounded me;
But in the name of the Lord [Yahweh] I will destroy [H4135] them.
12 They surrounded me like bees;
They were quenched like a fire of thorns;
For in the name of the Lord [Yahweh] I will destroy [H4135] them. (PSA 118)
Interestingly, when I was reading this passage, the Spirit quickened to me to look up the word “destroy” and so I did.
Now, this Hebrew word could be translated as “cut off” or “cut down” as in this verse:
For they [the evildoers] shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb. (Psalm 37:2)
Yet, firstly, the Hebrew word means to circumcise!
H4135. mul = means CIRCUMCISE many times in the Torah!
And the LORD your God will circumcise [H4135] your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. (DEUT 30:6)
Today’s form of circumcision is of the heart.
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God. (ROM 2:29)
Might one substitute “circumcise” in these places? It is the same word in Hebrew. Maybe the LORD intended it as a double entendre!
10 All nations surrounded me,
But in the name of the Lord [Yahweh] I will circumcise [H4135] them.
11 They surrounded me,
Yes, they surrounded me;
But in the name of the Lord [Yahweh] I will circumcise [H4135] them.
12 They surrounded me like bees;
They were quenched like a fire of thorns;
For in the name of the Lord [Yahweh] I will circumcise [H4135] them. (PSA 118)
The LORD will circumcise the repentant sinners!
Of course, this section of this Psalm outlines the crucifixion of our Messiah. Yet, today when “all nations surround” Him, the Messiah is calling forth the Gentiles.
PSALM 117
The preceding Psalm proclaims:
1 Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles!
Laud Him, all you peoples!
2 For His merciful kindness is great toward us,
And the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!
It has always been the intention of the LORD to bring in the Gentiles! For God is not willing for any person to perish.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise [of His Second Coming], as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 PET 3:9)
Will those who live in rebellion come to repentance?
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (ROM 5:8)
One must believe in the Messiah to be born-again of the Spirit.
JUDGMENT DAY
But there is coming a DAY when this age of grace will end. You better get ready for Judgment Day!
If one is not circumcised of the heart, the LORD will cut off the heathen! They will not make it into heaven but be consigned to hell! This is why we pray for revival because as God’s saints, we desire what He desires!
Dear LORD, we pray to Make America Godly Again! Amen!
Don’t you desire to be in God’s everlasting Kingdom of peace? Repent and be circumcised of the heart!
