The Promises

‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the Lord, ‘that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah: Jeremiah 33:14 (NKJV)

What has Adonai promised to Israel?

First, I must say, that the Holy Scriptures are timeless.

Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 1 Corinthians 10:11 (NKJV)

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Romans 15:4  (NKJV)

Adonai promises, and He is faithful.  There will be a New Jerusalem!

“…. there will be heard 11 the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them who say:

‘Give thanks to Adonai-Tzva’ot,
for Adonai is good,
for His love endures forever!’
as they bring offerings of thanksgiving into the House of Adonai. For I will restore the land from the exile as it was at first,” declares Adonai.   Jeremiah 33:11

Adonai returned the exiles after the Babylonian captivity and He is doing it again in these days, returning Jewish people to the land of Israel, as He promised!  

Hear the word of Adonai, O nations,
and declare it in the distant islands,
and say: ‘He who scattered Israel will gather
and watch over him, as a shepherd does his flock.’

The Righteous Branch of David

Moreover, He has promised the Righteous Branch of David.

14 Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah. 15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause a Branch of righteousness to grow up to David; and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely;

(Jerusalem is not dwelling safely in these days of terror, but God has promised it and it shall come to pass!)

and this is the name by which she shall be called: Yahweh our Righteousness. 17 For Yahweh says: David shall never want a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;     Jeremiah 33:14-17 (WEB)

This is Yeshua HaMashiach.  He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  He is the Redeemer and the Holy One of Israel. (e.g. Isa 44:6)  On the cross on which He died for OUR sins, it was written! And it was written in all FOUR of the gospel accounts!

Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was:

JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

John 19:19 (NKJV)

Yeshua Ha’Mashiach was born in the Tower of the Flock, died on Passover as our Passover Lamb (Yahweh our Righteousness!), and rose from the dead on the Feast of Firstfruits!   He alone fulfills the many prophecies of the Law and the Prophets and the Psalms.

Then He [Yeshua] said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”  Luke 24:44 (NKJV)

Yeshua, as King of Kings, is reigning and will reign over Jerusalem and  “then it shall be to Me a name of joy!!!!!
