1COR 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The Feast of Trumpets is when the “resurrection of the just” (Luke 14:14) will occur. Many think what is commonly called the “rapture” will be this year (2025). I doubt it. Some say there is nothing that prevents the “rapture” from happening. I disagree. Knowing many of the Scriptures on the end-times is vital.

THE HARVEST

Yeshua taught this:

MATT 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn…. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Notice the “First” in verse 30 and the “Then” in verse 43. Have the tares been gathered at the “the end of the age”?

REV 14:16 So the One seated on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

Autumn is the time of the harvest. The tares or weeds will be gathered together for the Battle of Har-Magedon at the Sixth Bowl. (REV 16:16) Then the wheat, the saints of God, will be gathered into the air with the LORD.

NOTE: Matthew 24 gives a good timeline of events as spoken by Christ. But Revelation cannot be read as a timeline! There are seven visions in Revelation!

NOT APPOINTED TO WRATH

Rabbi Kirt A. Schneider, of the broadcast Discovering the Jewish Jesus, wrote in his book The Book of Revelation Decoded:

“… I do not think God will remove His church from the earth before the tribulation begins … “

But yet we are not appointed to the wrath of God. The wrath of God is at the end of the tribulation.

1THES 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

But that is not at this Feast of Trumpets in 2025. It’s at the Sixth Seal when cosmic disturbances take place.

REV 6:12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

MATT 24:30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

CONCLUSION

A dear Christian friend of mine asked me one day, a very long time ago, something like: Why would the Lord take us when He could use us in these troubling times? I agreed for I also thought that He would use us then. Now I know more Scripture.

So don’t be disappointed if you’re not raptured on this Feast of Trumpets. The Messiah is going to use us mightily! You might be a martyr for the faith, as was Charlie Kirk, or you might help Jews escape, or you might influence someone to be a Christian. It’s all important. Let us continue to build the Kingdom of God! HalleluYAH!
