Until the Harvest

Written by:

Wheat

“Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matthew 13:30

“An enemy has done this” – planted bad seed. These are tares, weeds and they grow everywhere and anywhere.

But the Owner of the field said NOT to gather up the tares, in order to keep the wheat safe and intact. This is straight from the mouth of Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah.

FAKE NEWS

In these days of fake news, we can’t be too careful about spewing gossip that may have a detrimental effect on people. Someone will speak a lie,  then someone repeats it, and then another and another and so it becomes “news” but it is false!

I was somewhat appalled by fake news when I first discovered it online.  Naively, I felt that anybody putting out a story would write the truth!   But it seems that this is the new version of propaganda!  Social media is full of fake news.  If something is unbelievable or doubtful, I now double-check it in a reputable news source to see if it is true or false, but reputable news sources are few and far between.

So consequently, I do little in the way of news online through social media now because there is so much fake news out there.    I prefer the “good news” and the gospel because “the kingdom of God is at hand.”     The Bible, in it’s unadulterated form, is the Truth!

Social media has also put out lies about Christianity and Christians.   Be careful of spreading rumors about Christians …  or anyone for that matter!

[…] There are deceivers that are sent into churches to lead the sheep astray!  We are NOT ONE body with the deceivers!  But the LORD said, in the parable of the tares (weeds), “Let both grow together until the harvest” so you don’t do harm to the real wheat or true believers.  (Matthew 13:24-30)  See Until the Harvest.
