Praise Songs

The Lamb

The Lamb in the midst of His throne
Calls to His own, “Come follow Me
Unto the streams of water,
Unto the Tree of Life,
Come follow Me,  Come follow Me.”

Salvation belongs to Our God
Who reigns above, With mercy and love.
Bring Him your praise,
Ancient of Days, Messiah!
Your voices now raise: “Hosanna!”
Bring Him your praise.  Bring Him Your praise.

Our God, He beckons to us:
“Give Me your trust, Come and draw near,
I’ll wipe away tears  from you.
Do not fear: I love you.
Come and draw near.  Come and draw near.

CHRISTMAS VERSES

New verse for “I Wonder As I Wander”

But the King, for the joy that was set before Him
Aspired to absolve us from pride and from sin
So poor, orn’ry people could come to His throne
And be blessed in the heavens

— for Christ made us His own.

(new verse HIM/C.A.Venable (c) 11-19-16 )

for “Forever (We Sing Hallelujah!)”

//We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
We sing hallelujah
Our Christ Emmanuel//

Forever He’s Emmanuel
Forever King of Israel
Forever Prince of Peace
His reign will not cease!
His reign will not cease!

(c) 12-13-16 HIM/CAVenable

for “Joyful, Joyful”

Joyful, joyful we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love
Heaven in a little manger,
Sent to earth to from God above
Angels singing, “Hallelujah! Glory be to Adonai!”
Mortals join the mighty chorus,
Christ with us does now abide!

All the shepherds join around Thee,
Earth & heaven are amazed
Stars and angels sing around Thee,
Center of unbroken praise
Wise men, poor men, saint and sinner,
Calling us to eternity
There is none that God can not save,
So we do rejoice in Thee
