ISA 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
If one believes the words of the Holy Scriptures, one must conclude that Yeshua the Messiah is the Mighty God! These Old Testament prophecies are proof. There are many more, too, that are not included.
Just the words of Isaiah (in purple) confirm this! Also, verses from the New Testament (in red) support the fact that Yeshua is YHWH and all the other titles ascribed to His name such as “Light” and “Savior”.

GOD WITH US
ROM 9:5 … according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.
The Messiah came “according to the flesh”. It was necessary for many reasons. He is “God with us”! He walked among His creation!
MATT 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
ISA 7:14 Therefore the Lord [Adonai] Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

YaHWeH
ISA 42:8 I am the LORD [Yahweh], that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
“LORD” in the above verse translates as “Yahweh” or “I am who I am”.
JOHN 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
When Yeshua spoke this passage, He was claiming to be God, and the people there knew it for they took up stones to throw at Him. Thus, Yeshua claimed to be God!
ISA 45:5 I am the LORD [Yahweh], and there is no other;
There is no God besides Me.
(These words or similar appear numerous times in the Book of Isaiah.)
THE LIGHT
ISA 10:17 (NASB) And the Light of Israel will become a fire and Israel’s Holy One a flame, And it will burn and devour his thorns and his briars in a single day.
JOHN 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

SAVIOR
ISA 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD [Yahweh],
And besides Me there is no savior.

REDEEMER
ISA 43:14a Thus says the LORD [Yahweh] , your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
1PET 1:18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
A FORGIVING GOD
ISA 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;
And I will not remember your sins.
MARK 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” 6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
KING OF ISRAEL
ISA 44:6a “Thus says the LORD [Yahweh], the King of Israel,
And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
MATT 27:37 And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
That Christ is the King of the Jews is mentioned in each of the four gospels.
FIRST & LAST
ISA 44:6b ‘I am the First and I am the Last;
Besides Me there is no God.
REV 22:12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”
Yeshua, the First & the Last, will return!
THE CREATOR
ISA 44:24 Thus says the LORD [Yahweh], your Redeemer,
And He who formed you from the womb:
“I am the LORD, who makes all things,
Who stretches out the heavens all alone,
Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;
COL 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
LOOK TO GOD
ISA 45:21c … And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.
22“Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
The Israelites who looked at the serpent on the pole were spared their lives. Numbers 21:8-9
JOHN 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
SALVATION
May you confess that Yeshua is YaHWeH! Even His name means salvation.
