A Heavenly Prayer Realm

Written by:

HEB 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

ROM 8:34 Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God–and He is interceding for us.

ISA 53:12 ….[Yeshua] made intercession for the transgressors.

I awoke early this morning (November 8, 2023) and the thought came to me from the LORD that I was interceding with the King of Kings! I was, so-to-speak, in a “heavenly prayer room” with the Yeshua! Or perhaps, it should be a “heavenly prayer realm”! It is “heavenly” as in the Kingdom of God, and it is also a “field or domain of activity”, both definitions.

So in this “heavenly prayer realm” is just not me, but those who are interceding, coming before the throne room with the many petitions of the saints!

EPH 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

This is not so abstract: our born-again spirits are already in heaven! It may be hard to understand, but “in Christ Jesus” “by reason of our union with him”*, we, who are aware and conscious of this realm, are in the Spirit! And Christ is there in the Spirit, too, praying and interceding for us!

Think about this! The LORD, in the Spirit, is there with us! He hears us! The King of the universe hears us!

INTERCESSION

ISA 59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.

So would you be willing to intercede, even cry from the heart, over the war in Israel, or any wars, the persecution of Christians, the killing of the innocent? The prayer list goes on and on and on…. Would you have your tears shed for the souls unsaved or for the return of the prodigal sons?

Remember that the LORD is there … in that “heavenly prayer realm”. The Presence of the Lord is near, near to the heart of those who share His grief.

While the LORD was here on earth, He lamented over Jerusalem.

LUKE 13:34 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! 35 See! Your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see Me until the time comes when you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ”

UNTIL THE TIME COMES

Someday soon the LORD will return! Someday the sorrow will be vanish. The Prince of Peace will come and then one can no longer share these precious moments in the prayer realm weeping together with the King. The agony of our souls will be forgotten, but not the closeness of being in His Presence … that will remain! So our mourning will truly be transformed into joy unspeakable!

And these cherished moments will be remembered forever by Our LORD! (See the story The Pearls of Great Price.)

You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?
Psalm 56:8

IN THE SPIRIT

Many times, being in the Spirit, I use a heavenly tongue. This is totally scriptural! Many people do not believe this celestial gift, but see this case for it in the Scriptures: Praying in the Holy Ghost.

ROM 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. 27 And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

“ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD”. How do you know how to specifically pray for a war situation? We don’t even know what is totally true! That’s why I pray in tongues, knowing from the Scriptures that this is the perfect will of God. I probably pray more in tongues than in English!

1 COR 14:18 I [St. Paul, the Apostle] thank my God, I speak with tongues more than you all:

Or I start out in English and then it may turn to my prayer language.

Though I cry and cry and groan in the Spirit, I know the LORD is there with me – in my “heavenly prayer realm”! This is the realm of the Spirit.

EPH 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

A PRAYER

Our spirits sit before You, O Holy King, the King of Kings, Yeshua, because You are always there to make intercession for us. So we join with you now in prayer … [Pray for the needs of the saints and the world.]

Thy Kingdom come! Thy will be done!
